Na wa ooo, sad things are really happening indeed. I've heard bizarre cases of employers and nanny's. When I was little, my mum in particular had all her expensive wrappers and many other items stolen by a nanny/house girl who absconded . Another abandoned the house when she left for work leaving everywhere unlocked and my younger sibling alone while I was at boarding school, another got pregnant .  My aunts kids including her baby of a month old were abandoned by her house help who left the house, gates etc open. Luckily,  a neighbor saw the kids wandering on the streets and took them in , till my aunt returned.

Vlogger , radio and TV personality Toke Makinwa has quit her job at Hip TV. She was the anchor of the programme, ‘Trending’ on HIP TV until December 2014. Prior to her resignation, Toke posted very emotional write ups on her instagram page insinuating there was more to her resigning than meets the eye.

Why does Toke still introduce herself with Toke Makinwa, instead of Toke Ayida? Hmmmm! This is Nigeria, so when a lady gets married, you must answer your husband's name,or put your father's name in the middle before your husbands name i.e if your father's name opens doors and windows lool. I am curious though, becuase she has not reflected any change of name on twitter as well.

''My kind advice Toke: you need to get a life. You don't always have to portray yourself like a rude, mannerless lady.
