GUNMEN KIDNAP SEVEN EMPLOYEES OF SETRACO



A British construction worker was among seven foreign workers kidnapped by gunmen last night.
A security guard was killed at the rural site in Jama're town, Bauchi state, Nigeria, after the attackers first targeted a prison, in the biggest kidnapping yet in a region under attack by Islamic extremists.

The attackers went to the Lebanese-owned construction site of Setraco, where they killed a guard and kidnapped the foreign workers, police said. The identities of the workers were not yet known.The unknown gunmen first attacked a local prison, burning two police trucks, before targeting a worker's camp for a construction company called Setraco, which is in the area building a road.
