Mzbel a Ghanian artist who sang the popular song '' 16 years''( I be 16 years, I go dey be like this oo, if you touch my thing ooo, I go tell mammy ooo), recently claimed in an interview that she does not believe in Christ.
Her confession has stirred up a controversy in Ghana and after it went viral and Mzbel attributes the whole chaos to have been caused by her interview host Stacy and Stacy's director husband Okyeame.
According to Mzbel, she requested that the part were she denied believing in Jesus be edited , but Stacy and husband decided to ignore her and air the entire interview to make their show popular and increase ratings.

However, Okyeame Quophi in defence claimed that Mzbel is just creating controversies as a way of publicity to promote her new single . According to Quophi , his wife Stacy never called Mzabel. Rather, it was Mzbel who telephoned Stacy and asked her (Stacy) to put her on the show.
Mzbel getting wind of Okyeame's confession filmed a video she posted on instagram calling Okyeame Kofi and wife Stacy big liars.
In the video she says
“Okyeame Kofi and Stacy Amoateng =Ananias and Safira of your own New Testament Book! Big Liars! Hypocrites! Snake under grass attention seekers! War u ask, war is what u get!
Okyeame Quophi disclosed to channel R entertainment show hosted by Christian Oppong that they never booked an interview with Me but I rather called them to be on the show, Really?? He called me an attension seeker who wants to create controvesies to promote my songs, so Ghanaians should not be deceived! REALLY?! If this is true and I Nana Ekua Amoah Mzbel is saying otherwise, then May the Gods of our ancestors punish me! But if Kofi is lying, then May the God of our ancestors punish them!!!!”
