If you spend a lot of time online and want to earn money from your own home, then this may be the most important news article you'll read.

Here's why: Facebook just released a "Work From Home" Program that will allow NIgerians to earn money from the comfort of their own homes.

Now, tens of thousands of Nigerian residents will soon have the opportunity to make thousands of dollars every month, from the comforts of their own home, getting paid by cheque, direct deposit and even Paypal. Keep reading to discover how much some NIgerians are making every month with this job (the numbers may shock you).

Here's the deal: Facebook is a $33.3 billion dollar company that's thriving and reporting consistent profits every quarter, even during the global recession. They are expanding rapidly and offering online jobs to qualified people. This allows them to find and hire talent that would otherwise be unreachable and pay them based on results on a long term basis.

Why Nigeria? Because Nigeria is one of the most pro-business, and lowest taxed countries in the world. Facebook is rapidly expanding their Nigeria presence and opening up thousands of new positions for residents interested in working from their computers from home.

Sounds too good to be true? That's what Kana local, Emmanuel Adeboya initally thought too.Emmanuel is a 45 year old father of 3 who lost his job earlier in July 2014. He was lucky enough to be invited to beta test of this program in August.

Emmanuel Adebayo, father of 3, was initally skeptical of this work from home opportunity, but it turned out to be the "best decision he's ever made"

Emmanuel admits "At first, I thought this was a joke. Making money from the internet is only a dream. But I decided to try it anyways, since it was free to sign up. I recieved my welcome package and couldn't believe how simple the jobs were! All I had to do was browse the web and post links on other online sites. I also did some data entry work..."

"I got paid a great deal of money just to work from home each day...and I get paid every Tuesday morning... I make around ₦825,000 a month right now. I receive the cash directly in my bank account by direct deposit but they offered cheque or Paypal too"

What exactly was Emmanuel paid to do? He says, "They asked me to post links, share stories, review sites and some other simple tasks. II got to choose my weekly hours and work a schedule that fits my lifestyle as a father. I feel blessed I get to spend more time with my sons - ages: 7, 6, 3. And of course my lovely wife. Giving this a try was the best decision I ever made."

The good news is, as of 20/11/2014 Facebook has officially released their new work from home kit out to all Nigerian residents. There will be about 150 spots available that are expected to be filled quickly in the next few days.

What you need: Only a computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. You don't need any special skills other than knowing how to use a computer and browsing the internet. Another perk of this program is you get to choose your own hours. You can work completely on your own schedule- whether that's 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week. Absolutely no selling or telemarketing involved!

How do you get started? It's very simple:

First, you will need to apply for their work from home packages. They have released a limited amount of kits, all distributed through local websites in your area, which is completely free (it only costs $4.95 for rush processing and shipping).

This small fee covers the shipping and processing costs and also seperates the people who are serious about working with Facebook through this program.

Once you have ordered your kit, you will receive a package that will contain all the instructions you need to start working from home. You can even access this info kit online and start working within 24 hours. You will be doing all kinds of work for various companies and there's absolutely no telemarketing or selling.

"Anybody with basic computer skills will be able to perform these tasks" the company remarks, "We understand the psychology of working from home and we want to give our employees tasks that are simple and easy. Then, reward them generously in order to keep them motivated."

Is this worth quitting your job? If you're lucky enough to receive a kit, this will simply add as much as ₦833,000 to your monthly income while working as much or as little as you want.

"Our work from home program only requiers 1-2 hours a day of work to start, so you see just how simple it can be to earn money from home. This way our work from home employees will see the benefit and start devoting more and more time each day and their salaries will increase accordingly."

@Hui, I'm was a beta tester and still using it now. It's working pretty well actually! I paid 5 bucks for shipping and processing, got it in a few days, signed up for my account and have been cranking along ever since. My first week I made a whopping S₦114,488 and the second week I doubled that then it kinda snowballed to ₦283,300 a week! I'm gonna grow this puppy as big as I can. Here's a screen shot of my stats, my husband is in shock.

Thanks for the info, I started this 12 weeks ago on the experimental program like Emmanuel. I've gotten 12 cheques for a total of ₦899,443, pretty cool.

I tried one thing on the internet and it didn't pan out. I made about ₦91,500 a month but that was 2 years ago.

I like the stability of working for a big company and still being able to work from home.. I'm going to give this a shot.
