Yes ooo, she is 41 and her man Wade has put a ring on it.
Gabrielle Union showed off her 8.5 carat engagement ring with the caption, “Sooooo this happened… #Yessss @dwyanewade.” Dwyane also shared the same image with the caption, “She said YES!!! @gabunion.”
The couple have been dating since 2009, however, in a February 2012 interview with Essence magazine, D. Wade explained why they were in no rush to get down the aisle:
“We’re not rushing it. Both of us have been married before, and we understand that if we choose to marry again, we want it to be right. We both took failing at marriage hard. The next time it’s gotta be forever.”
This year, the two took a brief break from the relationship which only allowed their love to grow stronger. During an interview with Oprah, Dwyane said
She makes my eyes sparkle. The biggest time she makes my eyes sparkle is when Zaire (his 11-year-old son) comes home and homework is a little hard that day, so he’s stressing, and she goes to the table with him and she sits down until he gets it.
And at that time my heart is smiling a little bigger that day because I know her love is deeper than just me.
