 Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari , Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,Imo State governor  , Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the Publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah have all been cleared  to contest the party’s presidential primaries  slated for December 10 in Lagos.

Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has dismissed his suspension by the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as “irrelevant” and of little consequence as the party lacks the national appeal to enable Ndigbo make any significant breakthrough in the political leadership of the country.
