FESTUS KEYAMO , ABIKE DABIRI AND OTHERS PROTEST THE MURDER OF A NIGERIAN STUDENT IN DUBAI

Civil rights attorney, Festus Keyamo, Women Arise leader, Joe Okei-Odumakin, House of reps member, Abike Dabiri and Aisha Falode
alleged murder in Dubai of a Nigerian student, Toba Falode, a group of Nigerians today staged a protest at the National Assembly in Abuja. Mr. Falode died on February 15 in what police agents in Dubai characterized as an accident following a fall from the balcony of his 17th floor apartment. But the deceased’s mother, Aisha Falode, insists that all evidence shows her son was murdered. She accuses her son’s colleague named Faisal of being the murderer.

RIGHTS ACTIVISTS PROTEST 4 BILLION NAIRA ALLOCATION FOR FIRST LADIES OFFICE



4 billion naira (For whattttttttttttttttttttttttt).
Rights activists, mainly women, took to the streets on Thursday in protest of the N4bn allocated for the construction of a building for African First Ladies in the 2013 Federal Capital Territory budget .
The protesters, led by the President, Women Arise for Change Initiative, Dr. Joe Oke-Odumakin, began their procession from Lagos Television compound on Lateef Jakande Way, Agidingbi, Ikeja and later moved to the Governor’s Office.
