BOKO HARAM ALMOST KILL EX PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO'S SON



 Boko Haram militants attacked a platoon led by the son of former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, shooting him today. He sustained serious injuries to his legs and was being transported to the hospital at the time of this report.

GUNMEN KILL OVER 20 MORE PEOPLE IN KADUNA



More than twenty people have died in a fresh attack by gunmen in the troubled southern Kaduna area.

Earlier today, t at least 40 people were killed in three villages in the Sanga local government area of Kaduna State.

PRESIDENT JOHNATHAN URGES NIGERIAN'S TO DIRECT PROTESTS TO BOKO HARAM AND NOT GOVERNMENT



In a speech delivered on his behalf by the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Olajumoke Akinjide, to a team of #BringBackOurGirls campaigners, led by former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwezili, President Johnathan has said Nigerians should henceforth direct their protest to Boko Haram terrorists and not the government, urging them to learn from citizens of other countries who do not blame their governments for terrorist acts.

PHOTOS: ABDUCTED CHIBOK ESCAPEES IDENTIFY CLASSMATES FROM BOKO HARAM VIDEO



Following the release of the video showing the abducted Chibok girls by Boko Haram, some escapees were invited to Government house in Borno and were able to identify classmates.
I personally think the released video was a strategy employed by Boko Haram to show that the girls are doing fine and safe. Nevertheless, the intense search must continue.

PHOTOS : US MARINES ARREST TWO BOKO HARAM MEMBERS




Soilders have arrested a young Boko Haram member and one elderly one .The arrest was made by the U.S Soldiers on internal security operation. 
According to The Sun,The boy, according to the Director, Defence Information, was arrested during a cordon-and-search operation at Anyibe in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

BOKO HARAM ABDUCTS 11 MORE TEENAGE GIRLS IN BORNO



Boko Haram terrorists struck again, Monday night, abducting 11 teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 15 in Warabe village of Gwoza Local government area of the state.
The gunmen also carted away foodstuffs and livestock belonging to the villagers before fleeing into the bush.

17 PEOPLE KILLED IN FRESH BOKO HARAM ATTACK IN BORNO

An explosion in a market in Borno state has left 17 people dead in the latest wave of Boko Haram attacks in the country.

According to the Vanguard, the deadly blast struck a busy marketplace late on Thursday in the remote village of Nguro-Soye, injuring many more.

29 PUPILS AND A TEACHER KILLED IN YOBE STATE BY BOKO HARAM



At least 29 pupils and a teacher have been killed in a pre-dawn attack by suspected Islamists on a school in northeastern Nigeria.

Eyewitnesses said some of the victims were burned alive in the attack, in Mamudo town, Yobe state.

BOKO HARAM SETS 3 SCHOOLS IN BORNO ABLAZE




Three schools were yesterday razed down in Biu, south of Borno by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram. The incident came barely a week after three teachers were killed in Maiduguri school shooting while four students were injured.
