ANKARA STYLE ALERT - THE ANKARA MINI SHORTS AND BLAZER

Spotted in the pictures is Nigerian artist Lola Rae decked in an ankara mini shorts and blazer. The singer wore this during the  video shoot for her latest track '' Fi mi le '' featuring Iyanya.
I am really digging her look, but it takes  a slim frame and lovely legs to pull this trend off.
Being that I'm on the curvy hippy side, trying out this trend may be risky , because all the attention will be drawn to the ''junk in my trunk''.

I stumbled upon this photo and thought it was lovely. The  ankara skirt is sewn into a large A -line pattern and the lady chose to rock it with a green top choosing the popping  green colour pattern on the skirt.
