Now this is a serious issue. While so many ladies move year to year without being talked to , winked at , asked out and others date years without a proposal , for other ladies it is not same.
Some ladies practically sing praise songs like '' God of Elijah send down my husband, Saviour hear my humble cry and do not pass me buy etc loool.
One thing for sure is that life is indeed complicated.
My friend particularly has a challenge with regards men, dating and proposals. She remains single for years, then she meets a guy and within 3 months or less they propose to her.
She is of course ready to settle down , but has fears saying yes to any of these men not knowing them well enough.
Given the high incidence of divorce here and there, she tells them to give time or wait in order to get to know them better.
The sad thing though is that the men feel rejected and are simply not patient enough to wait, or give more courtship time as she suggests and they end up leaving the relationship and my friend heartbroken.
Now relationship experts say you need about 2 years to know your potential spouse, others say 1 year, some say 6 months and people even married still say you never know a person completely as each day, something new pops up.
So peeps, should a lady accept a short proposal 3 months and below? Have you been in similar situation? What is the right thing to do if faced with this dilemma?
