GOBE- WAR IN BOWEN UNIVERSITY AS STUDENTS WRECK HAVOK

While a large number of the Nigerian population were asleep, the students of Bowen University Iwo in Osun State were rioting .

The riot was sparked off over what many of the students tagged lack of basic amenities like water and light as well as the 'unnecessary rules & regulations' being made by school management, plus plans to increase their school fees.

A large number of school property, vehicles and and their chaplain's home were vandalized in the incident. While the students were on rampage, the school security personnel fled but the police was eventually called in to calm things down.

Na wa, I always thought students from all these private universities were '' butterish'' and ajeboish''. Interesting to know they can riot and vandalize school property too.
