THREE WEDDINGS AND A DATE

THE WEDDING OF BUKOLA AND DEJI SHOBOWALE

The second quarter of this year started with a bang  and got more interesting after three colleagues of mine Deji, Bright and Blessing revealed they would be giving out cards for their weddings.

Wow ! activity, I said quietly to myself. 

An opportunity to rock my new outfits and possibly meet '' Mr Right'' God willing lol I said to myself again.
Having been to clubs, beaches , shopping malls, cinemas and all the possible places to hook up with a  ''good / correct guy'' for a possible relationship to no avail ( the guys I met were not ''The One'') , I resigned to staying in my cosy house leaving the whole hook up process to God.
The weddings would be a perfect opportunity to go out there and see what was obtainable I figured.
My colleagues  began unfolding their cards with dates. Lo and behold they were all getting married on the same day August 10th.
3 colleagues getting married on the same day! Whew! 
I let out a long hiss as I thought about the reduced time to mingle and have fun , because I had to attend all 3 weddings on the same day.
To cut the long story short, August 10th finally came , and it was indeed hectic trying to attend the weddings located at different axis in Lagos coupled with traffic.
The last thing on my mind was trying to see who was eyeing me or who caught my fancy , and the day ended with just wishing the couples a happy married life, and  I brought my hot self  home with no prospects lol.
Before you laugh ,remember that she who laughs last, laughs best * Chidinma rolls her eyes*.
