This is the first time I get to feature myself on the blog lol. In this fashion segment on the blog, I will be dishing on ''the bright color effect''.
Being Nigerian and dark skinned, I refused to bleach in order to look fair and attractive and decided to embrace myself the way I am .
There is a popular notion that light skinned girls are highly attractive compared to ladies who are dark skinned and men tend to hover and pursue ladies with light skin more compared to ladies with dark skin.
In the history of pretty ladies who became ''trophy wives'', you will discover that a large percentage were light complexioned.
I acknowledge the fact that some guys still prefer a dark lady compared to a light one but the percentages are low.
If you are a lady and dark, do you bleach then to get all the attention?
The answer is a big NO.
You can use the trick called ''The Bright Color'' effect to get all the attention you desire and seek.
How? Wearing bright colors of course.
From inception, I have always been a sucker for bright colored ensembles attention or no attention.
Asides the fact that bright colors compliment my skin, wearing them brightens my day.
I however discovered a secret, it makes you seen too ( laughing).
A dark lady combining the right colors gives light skinned chicks a reason to worry.
Most times, one doesn't even have to spend her entire earnings dressing up and looking nice.
Combining bright colors right does great magic and leaves you looking like a '' million dollars''.
I'm not saying that a lady has to concentrate only on physical beauty and appearance , but we all know a man has to be attracted to the outer before he gets to know the inner *wink*.
I am quick to discourage very close friends of mine who are dark skinned and always go for dull colors like black, coffee, dark shades of grey etc.
If a dark lady has to wear a dull color and cannot pull off bright colors, always remember to combine the dull outfits with pops of color.
Married or single , dress right , look nice, be happy!
PACKAGING also applies to humans too.
