The National Film and Video Censors Board was set up to regulate the film and video industry of the country.
The mission of the NFVCB is to positively transform Nigerian society through the censorship and classification of films and video works whilst balancing the need to preserve freedom of expression within the law and limit social harm caused by films.
Actress Afrocandy has been having challenges and is currently in a hot battle with the censors board, who have gone ahead to classify her movie as porn with all the vivid sex scenes , and also classified her movie unfit for public consumption.
Afrocandy took to her Facebook page lamenting and saying her movie cannot be stopped by the censors board and assured her fans her movie will come with all the contents intact.
