Asides amusing myself and having fun doing it, I get to learn alot.
I just learnt there is a disorder called '' Prosopagnosia'' ( Omo, biting my tongue trying to pronounce it) and popular American actor Brad Pitt is suspecting he suffers from it .
I had to immediately google the complete meaning and came up with the extract below
''it is also called face blindness. It is a disorder of face perception where the ability to recognize faces is impaired, while other aspects of visual processing (e.g., object discrimination) and intellectual functioning (e.g., decision making) remain intact. The term originally referred to a condition following acute brain damage (acquired prosopagnosia), but a congenital or developmental form of the disorder also exists, which may affect up to 2.5% of the population''.
In a nutshell, he finds it difficult recognizing people ( Very Interesting).
Brad Pitt gushed in a recent interview in the June/July issue of Esquire. "I am going to get it tested," "So many people hate me because they think I'm disrespecting them," he said.
The condition apparently causes Pitt a significant amount of social discomfort as he has the inability to remember their faces and they picture him as egotistical and conceited.
