Professor Chinua Achebe, the Nigerian novelist seen by millions as the father of African literature, has died at the age of 82.
Chinua a famous author of the most widely read book in African literature (Things Fall Apart) passed on last night March 21 in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts after a battling long term illness.
He shall be greatly missed.
May his perfect soul rest in peace.
