It is with a broken heart that I bring to your knowledge the death of popular Nigerian female Singer Goldie Harvey .
Goldie was born Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey in 1982
Goldie died last night at the Reddington hospital in Victoria Island Lagos.
According to Denrele Edun her closest friend , he said upon her return from attending the Grammy's in the US, she was so full of life then something went tragically wrong and she complained of a headache .She was rushed to the hospital were she died upon arrival.
Goldie's management have released an official statement on her official twitter and Facebook pages.

Before Goldies death, her next project was to be a reality TV show called ''Tru Friendship'' with her best friend Denrele Edun.
She sang popular songs like Whats my name, Touch my Body, You Know it, Skibobo etc and also participated in the Bigbrother Africa Star game 2012.
