MY NIGHT OF TOTAL RECOVERY

(The story below  is my real life experience . Funny but it happened. Enjoy!)
This past Friday the 25th of January in Lagos Nigeria, I attended a  night vigil ( O yes, working on  personal spiritual growth  this 2013) tagged  ''I shall recover all''. The Vigil held at the prestigious Tafa Balewa Square in Lagos Nigeria.

The event was organised by a popular strong man of God, and for sure a large number of people where in attendance. I have never attended events like crusades and open night vigils since I was born , so you can imagine my amazement when I turned up at the venue to see a large crowd of people in attendance.
I thought to myself really? If half of the people in that arena at that time were practicing Christians , Nigeria and the world at large would be a better place.
I managed to get a little seat very close to the main arena in order be part of the action without distractions.
As usual, there were praise songs, worship , performances, sermons etc. Being that I just closed from work and hadn't time to rest , sleep came. I struggled and struggled, till the pastor announced  ''If you are sleeping wake up, remember your enemies are not asleep. With that single utterance my energy and prayer fire was rejuvenated. I came to recover all the devil and cankerworm had stolen and  I was determined to take back what belonged to me.
Prayers kicked off. Different prayers to suit different individuals and  I screamed the loudest Amen.
People were healed, lives were touched etc.It was simply an amazing experience.
The pastor and other renowned men of God then blessed mantles. Mantles are of biblical origin as they are often blessed and are seen  to possess spiritual powers which can be tapped by a believer  through faith.
Then came the sad part. The mantles were just 3,000 in number and the number of people at the arena were over 500,000.
How am I going to get one? I pondered, bothering my little head.....
Suddenly, the pastor announced If you are an Esther and you have been disappointed by suitors come out. Lo and behold so many women rushed out.
The pastor would ask them  how old are you  and how many times have you been disappointed?
Shocker of my life ,there were different responses such  as '' I am 52, disappointed 10 times, I am 43 disappointed 5 times, I've been married twice and disappointed.
The number of disappointments were so alarming that the crowd screamed at some responses.
I said to myself, I am in my twenty's wondering were my hubby is , see older people disappointed, girl you don't have problems.
The pastor then asked them to form a queue in order to wipe their faces and pray with the mantles in faith.
Wow! Chidinma , perfect opportunity   I said to myself and rushed to join them
As I forced my way  to the front , some ''aproko'' people in  crowd were asking is your name Esther? and I ignored them. I was simply determined to use that mantle .
Just when I almost  approached the queue to join the never ending Esther's,  the pastor I guess realized that fake Esther's where coming to join the queue and announced  '' If your name is not Esther, leave the queue or you will have leprosy''. Omo could I be flying back to my seat lol. I came to recover not have leprosy.
In the end though, the mantles were not meant to be taken home.  You were allowed to pray with them and drop them back for the next persons use. I used one and had confidence in my spirit that I had recovered all. I didn't have to be an Esther in the first instance lol.
