Families of the victims killed in the Dana air crash of flight 992 on June 3rd, 2012 took to the front office of Dana air to protest operations of Dana air, and also non-payment of their claims.
Many reports have stated that most of the families of the victims of the crash have yet to receive payments for their claims, and in some cases have received incomplete payments. A warehouse owner said he had submitted relevant documents to request a claim of N500million to the management of Dana Airline, but that after series communications, Dana Airline has not replied to a single correspondence.
The protesters carried various signs that read “Beware! Dana is the fastest way to your grave”, “Dont destroy your life! Don’t fly Dana”
The airline resumed normal flight operations on January 4th this year.
