The 23-year-old Don't Judge Me singer is reportedly eager to appear at the event on February 10th alongside the Barbados beauty after they reconciled their relationship over recent months.
Rihanna, 24, is scheduled to perform next month and is currently appearing in a teaser advert for the show.
According to US gossip site Radar Online Chris thinks that a show of unity from the couple will help people to see that he is "a changed man."
"If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago."
However the event organisers aren't as keen and are concerned the duet could cause a backlash from fans and viewers.An insider told Radar: "It's an extremely delicate situation and there is concern about the backlash the performance could receive. But it could also be ratings gold."
Chris Brown and Rihanna have also duetted on TWO tracks together in recent months Birthday Cake and Nobody's Business of Rihanna's latest album Unapologetic.
