Many people saw Nigerian comedian AY's tweet about buying a brand new car for his wife as petty and childish. The news trended on twitter in Nigeria and it left so many single girls wishing God would bring them a generous and successful husband as AY (I confess, I am one of them # laughs# ).
Anyway, the comedian deemed it necessary to apologize to his fans on twitter who saw the act as a deliberate show off as seen in the tweet above. I guess now haters will keep their mouths shut.
For me , my opinion is what is the use of the apology? His wife still has her car and anybody not happy about it oooh well, their bad. Afterall there is a popular saying , "If you've got it flaunt it''.
