RIVERS State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum has attributed the increasing level of insecurity in the Federal Government.

A team of policemen  , led by several senior officers, recently prevented the governor of of Rivers State  Rotimi Amaechi and his convoy,  from  getting into Government house   using the private entrance which happens to be   one of the two entrances to the Government House in Port Harcourt .  The policemen,  claimed they were acting on orders from above.

INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE ASKED TO ARREST MAJORITY LEADER

The leader of the five anti-Rotimi Amaechi lawmaker, Mr. Evans Bipi, has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, to immediately arrest of the Majority Leader of  Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, over his conduct in the House on Tuesday.
