A bomb factory at Umuokirika Ekwereazu in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state was discovered by the Police Command in Imo State on Thursday .
According to Mr. Andrew Enwerem the command’s spokesman for the state, men suspected to be workers in the factory were arrested during the operation and will be charged after thorough investigation.
The culprits were the break-away members of the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB namely Love Davidson of Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA , Charles Eze from Nsukka in Enugu State, and Ekeobi who is the leader of the syndicate yet to be apprehended .
Items recovered from them include, drilling machine, gun powder, tins of paint, thread, buckets and borex used as shrapnel certified by explosive experts to be components of IEDs..
Could they have been the ones who planted the bombs at Winners Chapel in Owerri, Kilmanjaro and two other locations in the State?
