The governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi was attacked in Rivers State yesterday by political thugs as he campaigned door to door at Obio Akpor LGA.
The thugs threw stones and bottles at him and obstructed his movement out of town by setting tires on fire . They fired gunshots at his car as he tried to get out of the scene.
