The kind of gists I hear these days is truly alarming. Some months back, a bird tagged a flying witch turned into an old woman in Lagos. Towards the end of last year, a man was reported to have turned into a Keke Napep at Relief market in Owerri after he was forced to pick up money he asked someone to help him with .
Since I had no pictures, I didn't bother at all reporting it despite the fact it made huge waves in Owerri Imo State.
Yet again , a similar incident occurred in Owerri along Tetlow when a woman was alleged to have turned into a tortoise after she picked up money.
There are different accounts of what actually happened, but none of them could be confirmed. According to an eye witness , the middle aged woman in a Keke Napep asked a little boy to pick some money on the road for her. The child refused causing the woman to rain curses on him. A passer-by got curious and suspicious and later attracted others who forced the woman to pick money herself, after which she turned to a tortoise. Loads of traders gathered in the area causing pandemonium.
Luckily for the little boy, his relatives whisked him from the scene to avoid queries from thousands of people and reporters.
NA WA OHHHHHH! EVERYONE HAS TO BE VIGILANT . This reminds me of Otokoto Saga in 1996 and the babe chopping off mens penis's for rituals in December last year (2014 ) that hit the papers.
