Yesterday Saturday the 10th of January was an interesting and fun filled day. My gorgeous friend and ex classmate Ugoeze Olivia Ohuonu wed her husband traditionally in her hometown Aba Abia State and I was part of the asoebi train. The asoebi was given to us free and we were also given fab ankara materials as souvenir. I ate like no mans business and paused my weight watch /checking calories eating wheat, rice , ugba , ukwa etc (I'll hit the road/gym later before the food parks at my hip lool).
We all dazzled (the asoebi train) in our burgundy velvet skirts ,champagne gold blouses and burgundy headties. The bride Olivia/Ugoeze wore a gold coloured tube blouse and burgundy skirt accessorised with big red beads and a cap for her first outing, then a fab gold coloured studded blouse and head tie with an off white abi cream wrapper embelished with gold . The mother of the bride dazzled in a mono coloured peach ensemble.
Looking at the pictures, you'll notice my fab self ( see high hopes looool) everywhere . Wait a minute, did you think I'd have a blog and not post more pictures of me than anyone who attended the event? Mbanu Nikkynaz no dey carry last looool.
I wish the bride a blessed and fruitful marriage , and thanks to my friend Patrick for helping out with some of the fab photos.
