According to 247ureports,the multi-million naira Imo Film Academy constructed and commissioned by Governor Okorocha of Imo State penultimate weekend (November 14, 2014) at the premises of the Imo State College of Advanced Professional Studies, ICAPS, along Egbu Road Owerri, has collapsed.
This is less than four months after a new security gate being constructed behind the main entrance gate to the Government House collapsed.
Okorocha had set up the Film Village as part of the measures to promote the identity and cultural heritage of the Igbos and made ace actress, Nkeiru Silvanus as the director-general of the centre.
