You will recall that South African athlete Oscar Pistorius is currently under trial for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
While I watched MTV Base recently, people were asked, '' Would you date Oscar Pistorius as a lady? and as a guy, If you knew your loved one or friend was going to date Oscar, would you let them?
The responses were hilarious, and like you imagine everyone answered NO. Some pointed out that he had anger issues to have shot his girlfriend Reeva and it would be totally unsafe to date him.
Wait a minute, does it mean if acquitted, he doesn't stand a chance of love again?
Does this go to show that even if we commit atrocities and make mistakes, old things aren't truly passed away in the eyes of men ( except God), but we have to leave with the consequences of our actions on earth for the rest of our lives?
This truly passed a message. It's true we aren't perfect as humans, but we still need to be careful of our everyday decisions and actions. That is were self control comes in.
