What goals have you set, what  promises to yourself and resolutions have you made and yet they seemed unattainable. Worry not, you are not alone.
Read the story of Iphie a banker by proffession  and you'd be inspired knowing it takes you , determination, discipline , hardwork, faith and prayers to achieve any goal.
Enjoy!.

I got to know Iphie  way back in highschool, though we weren't so close back then. We crossed parts a couple of times and said hello to each other as acquaintances.
Fast forward years later, I ran into Ify (Iphie) in University, though she signed up for a different course and was in another department.
I had always know Ify to be petite, cute and slender up until the day I saw her looking all bloated, big and like africans will call it '' Oroboish''.
My first toughts were wow, what is this chick eating? But in order not to offend her, I never for once approached her or talked to her about her weight since I was almost in the same category struggling with weight issues.
University days came  and passed , and everyone had to go into different directions to establish themselves in the labor market.
5 years after  University,  I ran into Ify at a wedding looking all trimmed, nipped and tucked and I was propelled to ask her how she achieved this feet.
She however opened up to me and I decided to share on my blog as a means of  inspiring  people to take necessary causes of action with regards any areas in their lives they desire change.

WHAT WAS YOUR TURNING POINT?

My turning point was when I climbed a scale and checked my weight. I weighed over 86 kg. Bear in mind that I am 5ft 2, that was really much for my height.
I got home started slimming pills and lost about 15 pounds. After a month of using them  I stopped.
I got to weigh myself  again after a month of  stopping the pills and discovered I weighed over 89kg.

WHAT SACRIFICES DID YOU MAKE?
I bought Zumba DVD's , started taking brisk walks,  downloaded work out apps, lifted weights etc. I curently do 10kg dumbells and 40kg bar bells.
I had to stop drinking Coke and started dieting. The dieting is the hardest part.
I could drink up to 5 bottles of coke a day ( Say what ), but have been Coke free for two years now.
I also cut out carbohydrates and foods with loads of starch and fat.
I achieved all these without attending or registering in a gym.
I also became introverted and stopped eating out, because each time I hung out, I was always pressured to eat.

AS A BANKER , HOW DID YOU ACHIEVE ALL THESE?

I usually wake up by 4am to commence my work out and sleep early say 9.30 pm.

THE STORY NOW

I currently weigh 68 kg now, but my goal is 62 kg an I am on it. It's been two years, but my hardwork has sincerly paid off becuase I look and feel better .

Photo: Thank you all for the calls, messages and love... xo

MY WORDS- If you think it, you can do it. '' I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me'' Phillipians 4:13.
Break that abusive relationship, risk that investment, take up that job, work on that idea, read those books, increase your level of spirituality, write that exam , start up that business,  because it takes YOU!

Disclaimer- I am not in anyway trying to say that being a plus size ia appalling compered to having a trimmer figure.
