Dismissing rumors that 5-year-old Usher V or “Cinco” is in a coma, Tameka Foster posted a picture on Instagram earlier today of her hugging her son in the hospital, next to a table covered in balloons, confetti and stuffed animals. Just yesterday Tameka was granted an emergency custody hearing after Cinco almost drowned in a pool accident at Usher’s house when he wasn’t home and now she’s showing off mommy love for her son on social media. She posted:
My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing! I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident. URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him. Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am. Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile…also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!!! Period
In the court docs, Tameka claims Usher is only around 15% of the time and shifts the childcare duties to others.
Meanwhile, Usher released a statement thanking fans for their well wishes, as well as his aunt and others who have been caring for Cinco, and the men who saved his son’s life.
I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family’s well-being. I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son’s life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them.

Ealier in court today , Usher and his ex-wife Tameka battled it out in an emergency custody hearing, after their 5-year-old son Cinco’s near-death accident. Even though there was compelling testimony from both sides, Usher won and will keep full custody of both of their sons.
