Last week, DJ Khaled stopped by MTV studios proposing to Nicki Minaj, and a couple of days later Nicki was spotted wearing a gigantic rock on her fingers.
Nicki decided to address the situation and set records straight, stating she never took Khaled's proposal seriously.
She said
'I was shocked just like the rest of the world.
'I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does.'
Nicki further stated DJ Khaled was trying to get publicity for the song they worked together on, ''I Wanna Be With You''.
She also said 'Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll,' she told the radio listeners.
'Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister.'
The tune also features Future and Rick Ross, who came out after the proposal stating that he thought it was the real deal.
However, despite the producer offering Nicki a 10-carat radiant cut diamond ring from Rafaello & Co - worth a reported $500,000 - the star said that she was staying single.
