RUSSIAN PRESIDENT AND WIFE ANNOUNCE DIVORCE AFTER 30 YEARS TOGETHER



Vladimir Putin, 60, and Lyudmila Putina, 55, were married in 1983 and have two daughters, according to the Telegraph.
"We practically never see each other," Mrs. Putin said in an interview with Russia 24. "We have our own lives."


"It was our joint decision, our marriage is over," President Putin said in the interview to Russia24 state channel.
Asked to confirm if that was a divorce, Ludmila Putina said, “Yes, you can say that, this is civilized divorce.”

"I do not like publicity, and the flights are complicated for me. We love our children, we are proud of them and see each other often," Lyudmila Putin.

Despite the split, Mrs. Putin said she and the president "will always be friends."


“I am grateful that he supports me," she said.
President Vladimir is rumored to have intentions of marrying  marry a gold medal-winning gymnast.
Well, we just have to wait and see.
