2 HEADED TURTLE EMERGES IN THE US

Two-headed Texas cooter turtle

Staff  and caretakers were surprised when a 2 headed female Texas Cooter arrived at the  US San Antonio Zoo.

They've named her Thelma and Louise, after the heroines in the 1991 film.
The turtle is currently at the zoo's Friedrich Aquarium.

The San Antonio Zoo is no stranger to two-headed reptiles. The facility was home to a two-headed Texas rat snake named Janus from 1978 until the creature’s death to 1995.
