Lagos Countdown is the Biggest New Year’s Eve Party in Africa featuring TuFace Idibia, D’banj, EME - Wizkid, Banky W, Skales, Niyola, Mavin - Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, D’Prince, Choc Boyz ft. MI, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Burna Boy, Iyanya and more.
There was a massive crowd turn out(Lagos people like events eeh), even with other shows in different places going on at the same time.
The event took place at Eko Atlantic City (Ahmadu Bello way through Bar Beach stretch until Eko Atlantic Office). The event was conceived to create an end of year crossover tradition that would engage citizens of the state (and visitors) throughout the end of year holiday season. The event takes special significance at the Eko Atlantic City particularly because all of the land that was washed away by the ocean over 50 years ago, which is now being reclaimed.
