Not to long ago, the book 50 shades of grey made waves. My friend had to stress"Chidinma, you really need to read the book, its off the hook".I had to scamper out of curiosity to read the book for myself, and mehn the sex scenes were really explicit. My imaginations went wild.
Then I heard they were going to make a movie of the book.You bet I'll be one of the first to rush to the cinemas.
Rumors started swirling last week when Deadline reported the "Salt" actress was in talks to direct the movie, despite the fact that Universal Pictures denied it flat out. Jolie's people squashed the story, too, claiming she's already begun her next project, Disney's "Maleficent," and not looking for more work.
Yet with the image of dollar signs the size of Harry Potter's eyeglasses dancing in their heads, movie studio execs left the door open for the "Salt" actress to direct its potential box office pay day based on the books dubbed as "housewife porn," for which it paid over a million dollars. It praised Jolie's directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which earned the U.N. goodwill ambassador a Golden Globe nomination but grossed only $303,877 worldwide.
