Talented singer Tiwa Savage recently released a video for her latest hit tagged '' Wanted''.
The video has got so many fans in Nigeria bashing and tonguelashing her for being semi nude, displaying lewd sexual moves etc.
Some even went as far as bashing her saying she was trying too hard to be sexy, her outfit looked like a brown oversized pantyhose, she was a wannabe Beyonce/ Shakira, and a fan actually told her to seek advice from Maheeda on how to be sexy and a bad girl hahahhhahahah loool.
MY THOUGHTS
Hate me all you want, I love Tiwa's video , voice, the wanted lyrics and her efforts at trying something new.
When Beyonce did '' Partition'' and looked all sexy and raunchy, she was still married to Jay Z with Blu Ivy. Shakira also wore a body suit when she did her ''She Wolf '' video , so why not Tiwa?
Because she is African? I think she needs to be given a break and appreciated.
She is a singer , artist and an entertainer. Entertainment involves showmanship and that was what she was trying to depict in her video.
WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THE VIDEO
Tiwa, where are your curves? I remember watching '' Kele Kele '' video years back, and appreciating Tiwa's hips and curves in the pink jumpsuit. Now they are missing due to excessive workout.
She should have just concentrated on her belly and tighs, without taking away the curves.
Secondly , I wish her brown body suit had some rhinestones on them, cos it blended so much with the background of the video looking too plain.
Generally though, I think Tiwa tried at this. Nigerian's should learn to support their own!
